01 des New Chief Operating Officer at Rygene-Smith & Thommesen

Elisabeth L. Berli started in the position as COO in November 2018.

She has a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTH) and a Master of Management degree from BI Norwegian School of Management.

Elisabeth has around 30 years of experience within the pulp and paper industry, first 10 years as a research scientist within the pulp and paper area and then various positions within the pulp and paper industry (mainly within Norske Skogindustrier ASA).

Elisabeth’s experience from development projects, product quality, customer support, full-scale experiments in various types of production facilities, process optimization, project management and continuous improvement will be beneficial for Rygene.

She looks forward to work together with customers in order to tailor make pulp products meeting their expectations and specific needs.
In addition to give her best of technical and production support to Rygene’s customers in the regular production of pulp.

Internally, she will focus on accurate, efficient and environmentally friendly production.
